Beckort Auctions owner Brian Beckort is a second-generation auctioneer, real estate broker, and respected leader in the auction and real estate industry, bringing decades of experience to the business. Raised in Harrison County, Brian joined the family business full-time in 1998 after graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Construction Engineering and Management.

Brian holds the distinguished CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute) and AARE (Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate) designations and is licensed in multiple states. Over the years, he has earned a strong reputation for his professionalism, work ethic, and forward-thinking marketing approach. Brian has helped clients successfully market and sell real estate, equipment, and personal property throughout the region while continuing to grow Beckort Auctions with a focus on customer service, integrity, and proven results.

When he’s away from the auction business, Brian enjoys spending time on the family farm and staying involved in his family’s activities. He and his wife, Katie, have three sons — their oldest attends Florida Gulf Coast University, their middle son will attend Hanover College this fall to play basketball, and their youngest will be a freshman at Providence High School.

Paul D. Beckort

Founder/Auctioneer

As the founder of Beckort Auctions and an auctioneer since 1978, Paul continues to instill his values of honesty and integrity on his namesake company. Paul and his wife Judy, currently reside on their farm in Laconia where they raised two children & now enjoy spending time with their six grandchildren.

Katie Beckort

CFO

Katie Butt Beckort serves as Chief Financial Officer for Beckort Auctions, where she oversees the company’s financial operations, human resources, strategic planning, compliance, and administrative management. Katie has served in a leadership role with Beckort Auctions since 2008 while simultaneously owning and operating the family business, Butt Drugs. Following the pharmacy's closure, she transitioned to a more intensive, full-time role focused on the continued growth and daily operations of Beckort Auctions.

Prior to joining the company full-time, Katie was the third-generation owner and operator of Butt Drugs in Corydon, Indiana, a family business founded by her grandfather in 1952. For more than 20 years, she successfully managed the nationally recognized independent pharmacy, balancing modernization and innovation while maintaining its strong tradition of customer service and community involvement.

Katie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Management with a minor in Marketing from Indiana University Bloomington. Her background in entrepreneurship, finance, operations, and customer service brings valuable experience and leadership to Beckort Auctions as the company continues to grow throughout Southern Indiana and beyond.

Outside of work, Katie and her husband, Brian, stay busy with both work and family life, enjoying watching their three sons grow up while following them in all their sports and activities.

Jason Cruse

Project Manager

Jason has been a valued member of Beckort Auctions for more than a decade and serves as a Project Manager for the company. In his role, Jason works closely with clients and the Beckort team to help coordinate auction projects, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure each auction is organized and executed smoothly every step of the way. His years of experience, industry knowledge, and dedication to customer service make him an important part of the Beckort Auctions team.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, especially his wife, Holly, and their beautiful daughters. They reside in Southern Indiana.

Kailee Roederer

Project Manager

Beckort Auctions is proud to have Kailee as an important part of our team. Since joining Beckort Auctions in 2023, Kailee has taken on many roles within the company and truly wears many hats. As a Project Manager, she assists with personal property projects while also coordinating live events, managing social media, and handling a variety of administrative duties.

Kailee graduated from Purdue University with degrees in Agribusiness and Animal Sciences. She lives in Brandenburg with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, Kailee enjoys being involved in the livestock industry and has a strong appreciation for rural America and the communities that make it special.

Abbie Austin

Project Manager

Beckort Auctions is excited to have Abbie as part of our team. Since joining Beckort Auctions in 2023, Abbie has served as a Project Manager, assisting with personal property projects and helping keep auctions organized and running smoothly from start to finish. She works closely with clients, helps coordinate auction details, supports marketing efforts, and assists with day-to-day project management needs. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail make her a great fit for both our team and our customers.

Abbie graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in Agribusiness. Born and raised in Southern Indiana, she now lives in Greenville on her family farm. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, competing in rodeos, and raising Highland cattle.

C.J. Fleenor

Project Manager/Auctioneer

C.J. is an important part of the Beckort Auctions team, managing projects throughout multiple counties, including Orange County, where he was born, raised, and continues to reside. With more than 20 years of experience in the auction industry, C.J. brings extensive knowledge and a strong agricultural background to the company.

He is a graduate of Missouri Auction School and Purdue University, where he earned a degree in Agronomic Business and Marketing. In addition to his work with Beckort Auctions, C.J. remains actively involved in his family’s cash grain farming operation alongside his wife, Caitlin, and their son and daughter.

Vince Hopper

Project Manager/RE Broker/Auctioneer

Vince Hopper is a licensed Indiana Auctioneer and Real Estate professional with nearly 20 years of experience serving Southern Indiana and the surrounding region. He has built his career on providing honest, dependable service while helping clients successfully buy and sell real estate and personal property through the auction and traditional sales methods.

As part of the Beckort Auctions team, Vince is proud to represent a company with a long-standing reputation for integrity, professionalism, and successful auctions. Working alongside the Beckort team allows him to combine his experience with a proven auction platform trusted throughout the region.

In addition to his auction work, Vince serves as Operations Manager for his personal investment companies, overseeing real estate investment activities throughout the area. This background gives him a strong understanding of local market conditions and adds valuable insight when advising clients.

Vince is a lifelong Georgetown resident, living near his family farm where he enjoys spending time with his family, raising livestock, and gardening. He’s also an avid outdoorsman and collector of fire grenades, lightning rod balls, and unique jars.

Alisha Livers

Executive Assistant

Alisha has been with Beckort Auctions since 2021 and brought 16 years of experience in Title Insurance and Real Estate closings. She handles most of our real estate transactions and assists with other auction projects. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, horses, dogs, and outdoor activities.

Rachel Walter

Administrative Assistant

Rachel Walter joined Beckort Auctions in May 2025 as an Administrative Assistant, bringing with her more than 25 years of experience as a pharmacy technician. Prior to joining Beckort Auctions, Rachel worked alongside Katie Beckort at Butt Drugs for nearly 20 years, where she became known for her exceptional organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Rachel’s extensive experience in the pharmacy industry created a natural transition into the detailed administrative logistics involved in managing personal property auctions. Her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic make her an important part of the Beckort Auctions team.

A lifelong resident of Corydon, Indiana, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and sharing her love for dogs outside of work.

Ashley Agnew

Catalog Associate

The newest member of the Beckort Auctions team, Ashley, joined us in April of 2026 and has taken on the role of Catalog Associate. Her love for photography, combined with a longtime appreciation for antique and vintage items, brings both creativity and attention to detail to the auction process. Ashley works closely with the project management team, helping with the preparation and organization of auction inventory, along with photographing and cataloging items to prepare them for a seamless auction experience. Born and raised in Southern Indiana, Ashley graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a degree in Journalism and now resides in Georgetown with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on her son at his sporting events, traveling, and an occasional stroll through the thrift store. Ashley also continues to own and operate her photography business.

Rick Quebbeman

Site Manager/Set-up Crew

Since joining Beckort Auctions nearly a decade ago, Rick Quebbeman has become an invaluable member of the team, known for his versatility, technical expertise, and ability to solve problems both in the office and in the field. From maintaining and repairing equipment to troubleshooting electrical issues and keeping operations running efficiently, Rick’s experience and dependable approach make him a trusted resource across all areas of the company.

A lifelong resident of Lanesville, Rick retired from Ready Electric after more than 40 years as a certified electrician. His extensive industry knowledge, strong work ethic, and hands-on skillset continue to play an important role in supporting the success of Beckort Auctions.

Maisey Zurschmiede

Intern

Maisey Zurchmeide joined Beckort Auctions in August 2024 as an intern and is now entering her third year with the company. Maisey first connected with Beckort Auctions through Lanesville Jr. Sr. High School’s internship program, which encourages students to pursue paid or unpaid internship opportunities while in school. Although Beckort Auctions did not have an established internship program at the time, Maisey’s initiative, work ethic, and enthusiasm quickly made her an important part of the project management team, and we are thankful to have her back for another year.

Originally from Corydon, Indiana, Maisey graduated from Lanesville Jr. Sr. High School in May 2025 and is currently attending Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where she is studying Professional Sales and Marketing. She will be entering her sophomore year this fall. Maisey originally came to Beckort Auctions seeking hands-on experience in sales and marketing before beginning college, and has continued to grow within her role as an intern. Outside of work, she enjoys running, playing pickleball, and spending time with her friends and family.
